The Kingwood Health Center, conveniently located just a half-mile off Interstate 89 on Route 66 west in Randolph, offers:
- Rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational and speech therapies
- Care coordination through the Community Health Team (Blueprint)
- Diabetes care
- Addiction medicine
- Nutrition Counseling
Physical therapy staff works to relieve pain and improve functional abilities to return patients to life and work following an injury, illness or surgery. The department also includes the Continence Program and the Balance Center. The Balance Center provides specialized physical therapy for balance disorders, such as vertigo. This therapy is also known as vestibular rehabilitation. The Continence Program treats urinary and bowel incontinence. Aquatics therapy is additionally available at Vermont Technical College’s nearby SHAPE facility.
Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy helps people of all ages with a variety of physical, psychological or cognitive functioning impairments attain or resume participation in everyday activities. Impairments may be the result of developmental disorders, physical illness, trauma or the aging process.
Speech therapy
Speech therapy addresses communication and swallowing disorders, helping people of all ages regain or improve their ability to communicate through speech.
Diabetes Clinic
The Diabetes Clinic provides diabetes education, blood glucose monitoring, nutrition and exercise counseling, and medication and prevention advice, as well as help for special patient needs.
Community Health Team (Blueprint)
Blueprint for Health is a state-led initiative designed to provide coordinated health services that stress prevention and wellness. The Community Health Team helps you navigate the health care system, access community resources, and providers seamless care and support.
Addiction Medicine
Our patient-centered team works with adults who are seeking treatment for opioid-use or alcohol-use disorder. No referral is required. We welcome calls from individuals and often have same-day availability.
Where to find us
Rehabilitation services are located on the lower level of the health center. The Diabetes Clinic, Community Health Team, and a private practice dentist’s office are on the upper level.
