The Volunteer Chaplaincy Program at Gifford Medical Center invites community members to attend “Living Through Loss,” a grief support group from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Friday in the Gifford Medical Center Chapel. The weekly group is open to anyone who has experienced loss.
Each of the Friday sessions is facilitated by the Rev. Timothy Eberhardt, Spiritual Care Coordinator and Emily Pizzale MSW, LICSW, Gifford Social Worker. There is no religious component to the group apart from a Serenity Prayer to close each meeting. Anyone who has experienced a significant loss and looking to gain comfort and support from fellow community members experiencing loss is warmly invited to attend and should enter through the Hospital’s main entrance wearing a mask on the way to the Chapel.
