New text and email billing through Doorstep by ClearBalance brings instant, secure, anytime access to statements and payments — a major upgrade for patients across the region
RANDOLPH, VT — Gifford Health Care is proud to announce the launch of Doorstep by ClearBalance, a new digital billing platform that transforms how patients receive and pay their medical bills. Beginning July 1, patients will receive billing statements by text and email, with a simple, secure link to view their balance and pay instantly from any device — phone, tablet, or computer.
This is more than a billing upgrade. It is a meaningful improvement to the patient experience — one that puts patients in control of their healthcare finances in a way that is faster, easier, and more convenient than ever before. Patients can view itemized statements, track insurance payments and remaining balances, set up payment plans, and manage billing for their entire family — all in one place, from anywhere with an internet connection.
For patients who prefer traditional paper statements, Gifford is happy to accommodate – just call 802-728-2200 and a member of the billing team will set it up. Paper billing is always available to any patient who requests it.
“Our patients have told us they want a simpler, more modern billing experience — and we listened,” said Valerie Ostrander, Revenue Cycle Director. “Doorstep by ClearBalance gives patients instant access to their statements and the flexibility to pay the way that works best for them. We are incredibly proud to bring this to our community, and our team is ready to support every patient through the transition.”
Patients with questions can call 802-728-2200 or visit giffordhealthcare.org.
