Joshua Cascadden, PA-C

Joshua Cascadden, PA-C, is an experienced emergency medicine and hospital medicine physician assistant with nearly two decades of experience caring for patients in rural and critical access settings across New England.

Joshua joins Gifford Health Care with extensive experience in emergency medicine, critical care, hospital medicine, and advanced airway management. Throughout his career, he has practiced in community hospitals and critical access emergency departments in Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York, including leadership roles at Springfield Hospital and Mount Ascutney Hospital.

Originally from northern New Hampshire, Joshua is deeply connected to rural New England communities and values the relationships that develop through community-based care.

“Taking care of the community that takes care of you has always been my theme,” he says. “One of the things I still find most rewarding is sitting down and listening to the human story.”

Joshua earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Le Moyne College and later completed a Master of Science in Health Sciences through Oceania University of Medicine.

Outside of work, Joshua enjoys coaching youth hockey, skiing, boating, and spending time outdoors with his two daughters and two Alaskan malamutes.
