Kathleen Bryant, MPH, APRN, BC

As Gifford’s school-based nurse practitioner, Kathleen Bryant will primarily work with students in the health clinics of the local elementary and high schools. She has 20 years of experience as a nurse practitioner. During that time, she has worked in school-based health centers in Vermont, including Berlin where she created and coordinated a program in the local PreK-8 school. Bryant also spent time in nursing education at both Norwich University and the University of Vermont.

“By being in the school, you develop a different relationship with the children that you don’t get with a periodic visit to the clinician’s office.”

Christina DiNicola, MD

Dr. Christina DiNicola isn’t just a pediatrician, but also a wife and mother of two daughters. She devotes her medical practice to the care of children and adolescents from newborn through college. Her clinical interests involve helping families build healthy lifestyle habits early on in order to maintain good health and prevent later illness. She enjoys building a partnership with families to help build mental and physical wellbeing and to treat the full variety of pediatric illnesses and disorders.

Rebecca Kincaid, MD

Dr. Rebecca Kincaid joined the Gifford Pediatrics team after spending several years practicing in Utah. Her philosophy is to not only get to know the patient, but also the whole family. Forming a bond with the family leads to a strong level of trust between Dr. Kincaid and her patients. She also enjoys working with teenagers and enjoys the challenge of getting them comfortable enough to talk about the real issues they’re experiencing.

“There’s a lot of hard stuff kids are going through these days, especially with social media. Everybody needs at least one trusted adult they can ask anything to and not feel judged or like they’re going to get in trouble. To be that extra trusted adult in their life is an honor and a privilege.”

Joseph Pelletier, MD

Dr. Joseph Pelletier received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Pelletier is a board certified pediatrician and completed a residency at Baystate Med Center.

Courtney Riley, MD

Courtney Riley, MD rejoined the Pediatrics team at Gifford Primary Care in Randolph in 2021 after taking a brief hiatus. Dr. Riley originally joined Gifford in 2016.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Biomolecular Science with University Honors from Clarkson University, Riley had initially planned a career in medical research. But while pursuing an MD at New York Medical College, Dr. Riley quickly discovered she wanted to be out of the lab and caring for patients, especially children.

“The patient/child is my priority and I try to engage them directly as much as possible. I look for verbal and nonverbal clues and I solicit information from other sources as needed.”

Dr. Riley is honored when her former patients chose her to provide care for their own babies. She already has a few “grand patients,” having met the parents when they were teens.
