The Gifford Adult Day program provides social interaction, medication management, and healthy meals to seniors and adults with disabilities who are not ready for nursing home care but need support to live safely at home. Our program allows participants to remain independent for as long as possible, provide respite from the isolation that many homebound elders face, and can be a source of relief for loved ones and family caregivers.
Our participants are individuals who:
- can benefit from friendship and functional assistance at a day care center;
- may be physically or cognitively challenged but do not require 24-hour supervision;
- may be in the early stages of Alzheimer’s or dementia-related diseases;
- are mobile, with possible assistance of a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
Gifford’s Adult Day program, Gifford Adult Day is in Bethel, VT, and serves adults in Orange and northern Windsor counties.
