RANDOLPH, Vt., January 25, 2022— Looking at Angela Lumbra’s images of inspirational beauty throughout the Gifford Gallery, you’d think she had been drawing for years. In actuality, this month’s featured artist is only 13-years-old and first started drawing just three years ago.
Angela uses art as a way to stay positive whenever she is faced with feelings of hardship. When her father passed away, Anglea started drawing more frequently as a way to cope with the loss. It pushed her to move forward and continues to be one of her deep passions.
“Your teen years aren’t the easiest, but I also lost my father who was my whole world,” Lumbra said. “Drawing makes me feel safe from the moments of pain.”
Anglea has some lofty goes to go along with her eloquent artwork, hoping one day to become a surgeon. All of Angela’s exhibited art is for sale.
