The inpatient experience

We know: No one wants to stay in the hospital. But when staying is clinically necessary, our team helps you heal, rest and renew—to get you home again.
The comfort, quality, and compassion found on Howell Pavilion, our 25-bed inpatient unit at Gifford Medical Center, make the local choice the best choice for our patients in our rural area. Here, in addition to personalized care, patients are provided:
- private rooms, some with garden views;
- nourishing, from-scratch cooking;
- medical/surgical specialties in house;
- a skilled, compassionate team;
- on-site hospitalist provider 24/7; and
- for those who need it, compassionate end-of-life care
