Gifford Health Care has been made aware and wants to advise community members about a scam involving individuals posing as representatives of Gifford Health Care, specifically recruitment at Gifford, and fictitiously offering interviews for Gifford jobs (the jobs are also fictitious).
This is a scam.
Gifford has received about 20 calls from individuals in the past two days who were contacted by someone using the name “John Bryant,” with a fictitious title, and referencing LinkedIn. “John Bryant” lists an email address as giffordhealthcareers.org–again, not a domain name connected to Gifford. We also have received similar messages via Facebook Messenger.
What You Should Do
If you or someone you know has been contacted as described above, please report to the Vermont Attorney General’s Office using this form:

Gifford is also contacting local police in addition to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
