How about a FREE lifestyle coach who will support you with tips for healthier eating and shopping for healthy meals on a budget? You’re in luck! The Community Health Team at Gifford is offering a new, online opportunity to help you get your individualized lifestyle plan started!
Included in the workshop:
- Online guide to tracking food calories
- Weekly (private) weigh-in – email to instructor prior to each class
- Goal setting, including tracking exercise and meals
- Learning about healthy eating on a budget
- Learning about stress reduction
- Learning about behavior modification
- Working with a trained lifestyle coach
Please consider this program if you:
- Have been told by your primary care provider that you have PRE-diabetes (Hemoglobin A1C of 5.7%-6.4%)
- Are overweight (BMI over 25)
- Don’t get enough exercise
- Have high blood pressure
- Have abnormal cholesterol
- Have a parent or sibling with diabetes
