The National Research Corporation has recognized Gifford’s Menig Nursing Home for the highest level of excellence in resident and employee satisfaction in long term care and senior living organizations.
The 2016 Excellence in Action awards are given to long-term care and senior living organizations that place within the top 10 percent nationally in surveys recorded by the My InnerView satisfaction measurement database. This year, Menig was one of 553 long-term care organizations nationwide chosen from more than 5,700 participating providers. Menig has received Excellence in Action Awards eight times in the last nine years.
“At Menig, we are committed to quality care and to meeting the needs of each of our residents,” said Menig’s Director of Nursing Amy Thornton. “This Excellence in Action award is especially meaningful to us because it reflects the satisfaction of our residents and their families.”
To qualify for the award, nursing homes must have survey responses from residents, their families, and employees that fall within the top 10 percent of qualifying facilities on the question “What is your recommendation of this facility to others?” or “What is your recommendation of this facility as a place to work?”
The Menig Nursing Home, Orange County’s only nursing home facility and home to 30 residents, anchors the Morgan Orchards Senior Living Community in Randolph Center, Vt. For More information visit: www.morganorchards.com
