RANDOLPH, Vt.— Erin Barry-Fenton joins Gifford as the new Director for Strode Independent Living, a 49-unit apartment complex for seniors aged 62 and older at Morgan Orchards Senior Living Community in Randolph Center, Vt. She has spent the last decade working in Long Term Care, holding marketing and leadership positions.
This is a return to Gifford for Barry-Fenton, who served as a Case Manager and Social Worker at Menig Nursing Home from 2010-2014. She most recently had the role of Administrator at the Loretto Home, a Residential/Assisted Living Community in Rutland. Barry-Fenton spent 5 years in between those jobs as the Director of Admissions, Marketing and Patient Relations at Berlin Health and Rehabilitation.
“I have always thought highly of the care Gifford provides the community,” Barry-Fenton said. “I am excited to be working with the Strode staff to ensure high-quality care for our residents.”
In joining the Strode team, Barry-Fenton assumes management of the day-to-day operations, overseeing staff as well as building and property maintenance. She will also work closely on resident engagement and communications.
“I am most excited about working with the residents and employees to provide a safe and positive environment,” Barry-Fenton said.
“I am happy to have Erin join the Gifford Retirement Community team,” Gifford Vice President of Senior Services, Ursula Margazano said. “Her high expectations, customer service skills and experience will add great value as the Director of Strode Independent Living.”
Barry-Fenton replaces Bethany Silloway, who remains in the Gifford Health Care system, taking over as Manager for Gifford’s specialty services.
