Gifford Voted “Best Hospital or Medical Center” in Times Argus 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards

Randolph, VT – Gifford Health Care is proud to announce that it has been voted “Best Hospital or Medical Center” in the Barre-Montpelier Times Argus Best of the Best 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards, tied with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) for this year’s top honor.

This recognition reflects the dedication of Gifford’s providers, staff, and volunteers to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care close to home. Thousands of community members participated in the annual Readers’ Choice Awards, which celebrate local businesses, organizations, and services across Central Vermont.

The recognition in the Times Argus poll underscores the trust Gifford has earned from the community over its more than 120-year history.
