Learn how to be a safe, responsible, and successful babysitter
Gifford is offering a Safe Sitter ® Babysitting Course for students in grades 6 through 8 on Saturday, January 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Gifford Conference Center (44 South Main Street) in Randolph, VT.
This course was designed to prepare students in grades 6 through 8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Filled with fun games and role-playing exercises, this instructor-led class even uses mannequins to practice rescue skills like choking rescue. Topics covered include safety, first aid and rescue, child care, and life and business skills.
