Watercolors by Vermont artist Barbara Geyselaers are on display through Sept. 19 in the Gifford Gallery at Gifford Medical Center. The exhibit, free and open to the public, features 15 pieces inspired by a variety of scenes, from a summer cottage to a desert landscape.
Geyselaers began painting in the 1970s, focusing on watercolors and taking inspiration from landscapes in Vermont and around the world. She has exhibited her work since 1981, including recently at art shows presented by Paine Mountain Arts Council and Central Vermont Council on Aging. She is a member of the Paletteers of Vermont, and, in addition to painting, enjoys pen-and-ink drawing, creating gift cards, gardening, and flower arranging.
The Gifford Gallery is located just inside the hospital’s main entrance at 44 S. Main St., Route 12, in Randolph. Artwork may be purchased at the hospital’s Garden Gate Gift Shop, open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 802-728-7000 or email .
