RANDOLPH, VT – Gifford Health Care held its annual Years of Service Awards and Luncheon on September 18, 2025, recognizing employees who have reached milestone anniversaries of service ranging from 5 to more than 50 years.
This event is one of Gifford’s longstanding traditions, bringing together staff from across the organization to acknowledge the dedication of colleagues in clinical, administrative, and support roles. The event highlights the combined years of service that contribute to Gifford’s ability to provide care in the community.
“This celebration reflects the commitment of our team to the patients, families, and communities we serve,” said Michael Costa, Gifford’s President and CEO. “It is an opportunity to recognize the people who make our mission possible every day.”
Angela Allard, a 20-year Gifford employee and member of the Human Resources team, both helped organize the event and was recognized for her own service milestone. She shared: “This event is a highlight of the year for many of us, and it was especially meaningful for me to be among the honorees this year. It’s a chance to say thank you, to celebrate colleagues across every department, and to recognize the difference that long-term dedication makes for our patients and community. It’s always a joy to see everyone come together.”
Honorees represented nearly every department at Gifford, including Primary and Specialty Care, Nursing, Patient Access, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Environmental Services. Service milestones were recognized at five-year increments, concluding with recognition of an employee who has served more than 50 years.
The luncheon provided a moment for colleagues to gather, share appreciation, and reflect on the impact of sustained service to the community. “Gifford has a long tradition of outstanding service,” Costa added. “These honorees embody the compassion, loyalty, and resilience of our team. The Gifford community is stronger because of the people we celebrated today.”
