Offered to expecting families by Birthing Center registered nurses, this six-week class is being held on Tuesday evenings. The class will cover: an overview of pregnancy, labor and delivery, active relaxation techniques, gentle breathing techniques, variations of normal labor and delivery, tours of Gifford’s Birthing Center, postpartum adjustment and breastfeeding. There is a fee to attend. Medicaid and other insurances are accepted.
