Join us for a free viewing of the documentary “Being Mortal,” a 55-minute film that explores the hopes of patients and families with terminal illnesses and the choices they face, and investigates caring for the dying by exploring relationships between patients and their doctors. A group discussion facilitated by Dr. Cristine Maloney and Islene Runningdeer, members of Gifford’s Hospice and Palliative Care Team, will follow the film.
The evening will also include an opportunity for attendees to participate in the “Before I Die” project. A chalkboard wall with the statement: Before I die I want to ______,” will be placed by the downtown Gazebo so community members can add their thoughts and reflections to the display.
