Dr. Thran is passionately dedicated to emergency medicine and to providing the highest level of care to all patients. “The variety of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, the diversity of pathology, trauma to infectious diseases and everything in between, make the practice of emergency medicine challenging and never boring,” she said. “I love having the first chance of diagnosis and treatment. Being able to handle anything that comes through the door gives one confidence and fulfillment.”

Committed to treating everyone with respect and dignity, Dr. Thran, as a mother to three children, has a particular empathy in caring for pediatric patients and their families.

In addition to being an active volunteer on hospital committees, Dr. Thran supports her community by serving on committees and municipal commissions and advocating for environmental stewardship and sustainability.
