The Twin River Health Center provides patient-focused care in family medicine, gynecology, urology, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance abuse disorders. You will receive expert care from our group consisting of a family nurse practitioner, a gynecologist, and a highly regarded urologist with the help of compassionate, experienced support staff. Gynecology is a medical specialty that deals with the health of the female reproductive system. Our gynecologist, one of Vermont’s only certified menopause specialists, sits on the Vermont Board of Health. She is available to help diagnose and treat your gynecological issues through medication and lifestyle changes.
We offer help in many areas of Gynecology, including:
- Vaginal discharge and infections
- Painful and/or heavy periods
- Breakthrough bleeding
- Breast health
- Birth control
- BRAC Analysis (genetic screening for breast and ovarian cancers)
- Annual pap smear exams
Urology is a medical specialty that deals with diseases of the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs. Our urology specialists welcome the opportunity to see you on Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays. Our goal is to work with you to diagnose and treat your urology issues through medications, lifestyle changes and surgery, if needed.
We offer help in many areas of Urology, including:
- Urinary incontinence
- Prostate issues and enlarged prostate (BPH)
- Recurrent bladder infections
- Vasectomy or male sterilization
- Painful bladder syndrome
- Erectile dysfunction
- Kidney stones
- Hematuria (blood in the urine)
